This joint makes me laugh. Crowds always crack up when i perform this and i always do it acapella so you can hear and stay with the whole story. This is really all about the stingers at the end of the verses, the twists. leading you down one road and then forking off to a different one. First Impression never Lasts. i like the idea of first never lasts, as it never does seem to in a any sort of relationship. A level deeper it revolves around the ying and yang relationship a male and female have and the polarity between the two (if you dont know, go research, intresting shit). But that was the inspiration, they are both loosely based on reality. ie a composite of real moments inspired the narritive.
